Final Fantasy is the most popular RPG series in the history of videogames now on game 12 in the basic series, and with a plethora of spin-offs and remakes all together. It started all the way back in 1987 which is no where near the dawn of RPGs, but certainly a good time for them. Any fonts used in the games will be placed here.

The Final Fantasy font matches the box font used from Final Fantasy 7 and up (along with the remake series). It is created by Juan Pablo Reyes Altamirano and also has the Squaresoft logo text in it.
