Kid Icarus: Angel Land Story is a platform action game. You play the role of Pit, a low level angel who must rescue Palutena, the goddess of light, from Medusa, goddess of darkness. The game play changes from vertical side-scroller, to horizontal side-scroll, to room based platformer in each section change. You must collect items and hearts, shoot your bow through various monsters, and defeat the bosses of Angel Land.
