Who is Queen?
In my opinion Queen is the best band that has ever played. Queen is pure, strong, solid, and just plain perfect. Queen's standard reign lasted twenty years from 1971 to 1991. It ended with the tragic death of Queen's lead singer Freddie Mercury. During that time they release over 20 albums. Queen also came together once more for one final track: No One but You. Which was on the album Queen Rocks as well as Queen's Greatest Hits 3. Queen still exists with its remaining two members, (John Deacon retired) but they rarely play under the name 'Queen' anymore.

Who plays in Queen?
Queen consisted of four very talented members: Brian May, Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon. Brian played lead guitar and vocals. Freddie did lead vocals, piano, guitar, and assorted instruments. Roger played drums and did some vocals, piano, and other assorted instruments. John played bass guitar and some other instruments.

What did they play?
Some of their more popular songs in America include: We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions, Another One Bites The Dust, Killer Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody, Fat Bottomed Girls, and Under Pressure. Princes Of The Universe, has become more popular due to the Highlander series. Queen's music can be heard in many movies and commercials. (Highlander I, II, Flash Gordon, Wayne's World, Iron Eagle, etc.)

Why were they so great?
Although starting small, Queen slowly became a powerful force in the music industry. With over 10 number one albums and tons of number 1 songs, Queen dominated the charts for all of their career, even with critics bashing them. Queen still holds many attendance records across the world even to this day. An odd fact about Queen is that all four of its members had bachelor degrees in business. Queen was also a band who could not only play amazing music, but they were also known for their beautiful and outrageous stage performances which were as much fun for the audience as it was for the band. Queen was one of the pioneer bands to experiment with music videos and full fledged stage shows. Queen's music will live on forever, as one of the best and amazingly unique in history.
