Dr. Alex Dainis is a science communicator who has been creating science videos since 2009. In 2013 she produced videos under the name "Bite Sci-zed," short for bite-sized science, but dropped the title in 2015. Dainis has a Ph.D. in genetics, a subject which features prominently in her videos. She ends many of her videos with the tagline, "Go forth and do science!"
