Doom: Knee Deep In the Dead is a comic book published by GT Interactive in May 1996 and based on the video game, Doom. Only a single issue was created, the the comic has been thoroughly panned by critics for having utterly ridiculous dialogue. It was written by Steve Behling and Michael Stewart, drawn and colored by Tom Grindberg, lettered by Edd Fear, and produced by Dana Moreshead, for Marvel Comics, as a giveaway for a video game convention.

I knew of the existence of the Doom comic because it was famous for how bad it is, and I saw a couple scans of sections of the comic, but I never read it. In 2019, while cleaning up the Doom universe page on this Wiki, I searched for it online and found it and read it. It's hilariously awful.

Status

I don't own this comic, but I read it on 2019-10-22.
