I asked for ''[[Mega Man II]]'' for Christmas around 1990 and got it. After that, my friends, family, and I all worked toward beating the game. When we finally defeated the 8 robot masters we were greeted with this fantastic song. I still remember when we ran back and forth along the first boss stage with Woodman and Metalman's weapons for a long time farming 1-ups, and listening to this amazing song the whole time. This song is not only one of my favorite video game songs, but one of my favorite songs of all time. It is extremely nostalgic for me.

Dr. Wily Stage 1 is a song composed by Takashi Tateishi for the video game Mega Man II, released on 1988-12-24. Tateishi composed it using audio software written by Yoshihiro Sakaguchi. The song is played the Dr. Wily Stages 1 and 2, the first two boss stages in Mega Man II after you defeat all of the robot masters. The song has been released on multiple albums and has become one of the most popular video game songs of the 8-bit era having been covered by dozens of artists.

Personal

I asked for Mega Man II for Christmas around 1990 and got it. After that, my friends, family, and I all worked toward beating the game. When we finally defeated the eight robot masters we were greeted with this fantastic song. I still remember when we ran back and forth along the first boss stage with Woodman and Metalman's weapons for a long time farming 1-ups, and listening to this amazing song the whole time. Video games consumed my life in the early 1990s, and this was one of my favorites, so the song is particularly nostalgic to me. I especially love the constant rapid throbbing background bass, and the harmony and melody have a lovely reverb.
