Foxit Reader is a PDF viewer that has, unfortunately, become bloated with "features" over time, but is still one of the best free PDF viewers despite its nagware model. The interface has unfortunately taken the inferior Microsoft ribbon approach, and all versions after 7.2.8.1124 have removed the ability to use the superior classic toolbar. However, since FireFox and Chrome now have a built-in PDF viewer, I don't even bother with it anymore.
If you want the last good version, you can get it here: filehippo.com/download_foxit/64763
Install this version, then do the following to make it look decent:
- File -> Change Toolbar Mode -> Click, Classic Toolbar Mode.
- Edit -> Preferences -> Updater -> Select, Do not download or install updates automatically.
- Edit -> Preferences -> General -> Uncheck, Show Start Page, and uncheck Show Advertisement.
