Laura Ingalls Wilder was an author, best known for her Little House book series.
Personal
My mother read many of her books to my siblings and me in our childhood. I have fond memories of her work and enjoy her writing style. I especially enjoy fixating on her usage of words that are now quite out of date and her descriptions of life as a child/teen in the 1800s.
