Original cover.

Living In America is the first studio album by The Sounds, released on 2002-11-11 on CD. The album mixes the synthesizers of 1980s new wave with post-punk revival. The songs are mostly about partying and relationships.

After I listened to Crossing the Rubicon, I sought out more music by The Sounds and found this album. Although the songs are not nearly as polished as Crossing the Rubicon, I still found a lot of really enjoyable songs. One thing I don't like about the album is Maja Ivarsson's use of the interjection "ha" in several songs.

I own this album on CD.
