Metroidvania Review

Metroidvania Review is a now defunct website which reviewed Metroidvanias. Before it went offline, I made a list of all the games they reviewed and their overall rating. I don't fully agree with the site's categorization of the genre, for example, they included the original Castlevania which is a staged-based action game, but excluded The Legend of Zelda which is clearly a Metroidvania. At first, I assumed they just excluded any game that wasn't a side-view, but they also included the first-person Metroid Prime, so, I'm not sure what their criteria was. And, obviously, I don't agree with all their ratings (they gave Castlevania and Metroid Fusion the same rating?), but, despite these disagreements, I think the list is still quite helpful at steering Metroidvania fans towards good Metroidvania games.

I've converted their decimal-based rating system into an integer-based system and struck out the games that are clearly not Metroidvanias.
