While looking for a new non-fiction book to read, this one caught my eye.

Good
- There is a lot of information on how the mind of animals evolved.
- The book has a plethora of interesting facts about octopuses, cuttlefish, and squid. Not just information about how they are now, but also their evolution and divergence from the common ancestor which eventually led to mammals.
- The book addresses the latest research on some mysteries about octopuses. For example, how is their color-changing camouflage so good when they're colorblind? And, why do their bodies devote so much energy to their nervous system when they only live a couple of years?
Bad
- Other than a couple isolated segments, I didn't find the book all that interesting to read. It wasn't boring, but it didn't captivate me either.

- Nothing.
