The first two albums do not list the composers of each song, but ''The Initial Friend EP'' lists [[Jenny Lewis]] and [[Blake Sennet]] as the composers of all the songs on the album, however, there are four songs not included on the EP that are on the previous albums. I presume that Jenny and Blake wrote those as well, but I can't confirm it.

I got a copy of these three albums combined onto a single CD from the friend who introduced me into the band. I believe it was already after I had purchased the first two studio albums. I loved the album right away, and, despite it having low production quality, I love the feel of the album. Most of the songs are American indie pop infused with country/western aspects creating a smooth enjoyable sound coupled with pretty depressing lyrics. But, the unfiltered view into the life of the composers is rather cathartic because it reminds you that your missteps and failed relationships are typical.

Album cover.

Rilo Kiley, also known as The Initial Friend EP, is an indie pop album released three different times by the band Rilo Kiley, first in 1999, then in 2000, and lastly in 2001. Each release shared several songs, but also included some new songs or rearrangements of the older songs. Combined together, they are the equivalent of a single album.

The first two albums do not list the composers of each song, but The Initial Friend EP lists Jenny Lewis and Blake Sennett as the composers of all the songs on the album, however, there are four songs not included on the EP that are on the previous albums. I presume that Jenny and Blake wrote those as well, but I can't confirm it.

I do not own any of these albums, but I would love to acquire them.
