Run Santa Run is a "racing" video game developed and published by Nekogames as a free browser game on 2017-12-03. It was programmed in JavaScript and HTML5.

In the game, you control Santa who, while loading a sack of toys on his sleigh, has accidentally spooked his reindeer and caused them to run off without him. You must click the mouse button rapidly in hopes of catching them before they leave you behind.

While looking for other Nekogames titles to play, this one seemed cute and short, so I played and beat it.

Best Version: Browser

Good

• The story is cute and silly.
• The art, though rather basic, properly follows cartoon principles.
• The 8-bit Christmas music by beepboy is fitting.
• The alternate endings add at least a little content.

Bad

• If you're a really fast clicker, you can actually outpace the reindeer which undermines the game's plot.
• The game could have done with some more endings.

Ugly

• A control system of just clicking the mouse rapidly is not at all enjoyable and results in very shallow game play. A little more effort would have allowed for far more options, as it is, this barely qualifies as a game.
• The game is over far too quickly and easily.
