Super Mario Bros. Deluxe
Super Mario Bros. Deluxe is compilation video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Color on 1999-05-01. It includes Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, and a couple new games like racing a Boo Buddy through various stages, variants, like finding five red coins in the levels of the original Super Mario Bros., a 2-player vs. game, a bunch of graphics for a Game Boy Printer, and a couple other features.
I don't own this game, but I've beaten all 36 levels of the original Super Mario Bros.
- This is pretty good bang for your buck giving you a portable version of the first two Super Mario Bros. games, and a bunch of other add-ons.
- The overwold animations are nice, and the additional graphics at the end of the stages are cute.
- The limited screen size which prevents you from seeing a decent portion of the screen compared to the original games makes it quite a bit harder. They programmers compensated by slowing down the Bullet Bills and flying Cheep Cheeps, but there are still several areas where you'll fall to your death or not have enough time to react to enemies.
