The Fratellis are a rock band from Glasgow, Scotland which formed in 2005. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Jon Fratelli, bassist and backing vocalist Barry Fratelli, and drummer and backing vocalist Mince Fratelli. The band's name comes from from the crime family in the film The Goonies. The band members are not related, but use the same last name as part of their stage names.
Personal
The first song I heard by The Fratellis is Cigarello which was included on a Blalock's Indie Rock Playlist. After enjoying the song I downloaded their album Costello Music and loved it. I saw the band perform at Saint Andrews in Detroit in the late 2000s. I continued to follow the band, but I wasn't as big a fan of Here We Stand, and even less of We Need Medicine, so I've haven't heard any of their new music.
