The Goonies (universe)
The Goonies is a fictional universe that began with a film in 1985 written by Chris Columbus which was expanded into a couple other forms of media including video games, books, board games, and more.

Video Games
In the mid-1980s, three different games were made around The Goonies. The first was a platform puzzle game made by Datasoft which was released on 8-bit home computers in the USA and Europe. Konami won the Japanese publishing rights and produced a platform action one game for the Famicom and Japanese home computers, but they also made a totally different game for the MSX.
