The Sounds, circa 2011.

The Sounds are a Swedish band that formed in Helsingborg, Sweden in 1998. They have a 1980s new wave sound mixed with the style of the 2000s.

I first discovered them on Blalock's Indie Rock Playlist, and became a fan of their music. For my taste, their albums have been hit-or-miss. I absolutely adore Crossing the Rubicon, it's one of my favorite albums of all time, but, others have only a couple songs that I like, with the rest being insufferable.
